Workshop ticket + $20.00 Studio Fee to instructor day of class includes miscellaneous materials and pastel products to sample plus a set of pastel papers, 1 set of 24 color half-stick hard pastels and blending tools
Items to bring: sketchbook (at least 5” x 7”), 4B or softer pencil and sharpener. Apron or smock. To protect your hands from pastel dust, we will provide barrier cream which protects and makes your skin totally washable. If you prefer gloves, bring exam gloves so you can feel your tools well.
Please bring a lemon or a lime. Or both!
Whether new to or familiar with pastels, you’ll engage with their range of possibilities in this full day immersion. Hands-on work and teacher demonstrations will cover materials and techniques for making striking images in pastel. The process will include thoughtful observation, essential…
