Coptic Bound Journals

Learn one of the classic bookbinding stitches - coptic binding.  The coptic binding is an ancient way to sew together a book with wonderful contemporary uses. It’s a great binding technique to learn and master both for beginning bookbinders and experienced book artists. In this class we will construct and sew a blank book together. You’ll leave class with your own notebook, binding instructions and the knowledge to continue making books at home. All hand tools and supplies will be provided; no experience necessary!
