This week, Robin Silverman from Tripping Gnome Farm in Freeport dropped off some mushrooms and microgreens for Cat and Martha to use in the kitchen, and let me tell you...these are as fresh as you can get when your farm is just upta road!
The folks over at Tripping Gnome are experts in mushrooms, inoculating oaks and poplars and chatting about shitakes and oysters all day, with true dedication to their craft and sustainability. Tripping Gnome even offers a free round of disc golf on their farm!

The menu Cat and Martha came up with is fantastic as always:
slow cooked ham with sauted mushrooms, mozzarella, provolone & chedder jack cheese topped with a garlic & adobo aioli in between two pieces of Sicilian style Maine Grains crust.
Speaking of mushrooms...there's some forward thinking here with Elevate ... a very exciting line of mushroom supplements and products added into the Zephyr Shop, if you are botanically curious...give it a try soon!

as always, don't forget to sign up for your favorite workshop before it sells out! ... coming up this month:
